Robotiq Society was founded by students of KDU PG in 2017 as an interest club which sets it apart from school clubs which are solely for students from a particular department of the university college. An interest club is open to students who are interested in the particular club, however the current Robotiq Society is open to students not only from UOWM KDU PG. Currently we collaborate with PSC (Penang Science Cluster) and volunteer in events like PISF (Penang International Science Fair).
The society aligns with these objectives:
1. To
gain students' interest towards Field of Engineering and Robotics
2. To
enhance students to think out of the box in encountering daily problems solving
3. To
learn and apply soft skills used in Engineering Field
4. To
collaborate between different professions
5. Transcend
robotics experience
6. To expose students to events which require teamwork and discipline
