PISF (Penang International Science Fair) is a huge event that takes place annually at SPICE Arena, Penang. Fortunately, Robotiq Society was involved in organising The Expedition, a Lego Robotics competition open to primary school students by collaborating with PSC (Penang Science Cluster).
Meetings were held with the person in-charge of The Expedition from PSC, Shah to discuss and finalise aspects of the competition. Members of the society were involved in the preparation stage of The Expedition such as designing the challenge map using Adobe and stimulating the competition so ensure nothing goes wrong.
On the day of the event members of the society volunteered to take up roles of emcee, judges, score runners and inspection units. The challenge requires the participants to think out of the box to complete the challenge within the given time frame using robots built from Lego Mindstorm sets.
